Winery and Terroir

The Consorzio has two bottling centers, both strategically located to enhance the different production vocations of the territory. The first is located in Barberino Tavarnelle, in the province of Florence, in the heart of Chianti, an area historically renowned for the production of high-quality wines, representing a symbol of Tuscan winemaking excellence. The second facility is located in the Madonnino di Braccagni area, in the province of Grosseto.

Company

A heritage comprising over 2,000 producers, part of various societies, that united years ago to form the Consorzio Le Chiantigiane. The producers deliver their wines to the Consortium for bottling and commercialization. Grape processing takes place in the associated winemaking companies, which annually process about 170,000 quintals of grapes produced in the vineyards of the members. As a result of this collective effort, Le Chiantigiane brings together under one brand some of the most prestigious D.O.C.G. denominations of Tuscany, such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti, Chianti Classico, Morellino di Scansano, and the Maremma D.O.C.
