Over 2,500 Hectares

The Vast Heritage of the
Le Chiantigiane Consortium:
Passion, Productive Land, and the Art of Winemaking

This heritage extends across the companies of more than 2,000 producers who, through their membership in the member wineries, united years ago to form the Le Chiantigiane Consortium. The producers supply their wines to be bottled and distributed. Winemaking takes place in the associated companies, which annually process around 170,000 quintals of grapes from the Members’ vineyards. Thanks to this collective effort, Le Chiantigiane brings together some of Tuscany’s most prestigious D.O.C.G. wines under a single brand, such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti, Chianti Classico, Morellino di Scansano, and the D.O.C. Maremma.

The production areas cover much of central Tuscany, with particular emphasis on Certaldo, Colle di Val d’Elsa, Empoli, Larciano, Castelnuovo Berardenga, and Scansano, where the processing plants are also located. Every step of the production process is closely monitored by agronomists and enologists, who set quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction and the continuous growth of the company. From vine care to bottling, each stage is meticulously managed to guarantee the highest quality.

In Italy, it is present in major retail chains and has a network of wholesalers and retailers. Internationally, the Consortium is strengthening its commercial relationships with numerous countries worldwide. The union of producers has proven to be a real strength: today, the Chiantigiane group is capable of bottling and distributing various types of quality wines internationally, bringing Tuscan excellence to both national and global markets.
