Area of Origin
Abruzzo, Province of Chieti. The vineyards are located between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.
Pedoclimatic Environment
This wine is made in a very favorable area on the Chieti hills. The low yield per hectare is not the result of forcing. The nature of the soil gives the vineyard exceptional balance: hence the extraordinary quality concentration of each
bunch of grapes.

COLOUR
The wine expresses a ruby-red color with purple shades verging on garnet red when aged.
Characteristics
This wine has a strong fruity scent, containing hints of spices, cherry plum and jam. To the palate it is powerful and persistent, full-bodied with elegant tannins.
Gastronomic Combinations
This wine is a suitable accompaniment to hearty soups, roasts, games, grilled meats and fresh cheeses.
Serving Temperature
Serve at a temperature of 18°-20° C.
Wine Making Process
In red, the grape skins are kept in contact with the liquid part for about 15-20 days. The refining is done in steel containers, followed by a partial refining in oak barrels.
