Pedoclimatic Environment
Hilly areas with max. elevations of 400 – 600 meters from sea level. The soil is mainly composed of sand and is rich in silty veins.
Grape Varieties
Mainly Vermentino grapes, plus other grape varieties may be added following the instructions of the Vermentino Toscana IGT production law.
Colour
Light straw yellow with green reflexes verging on golden yellow when aged.
Characteristics
Elegant and refined wine, with a straw yellow color, an intense and persistent aroma of fresh fruit with delicate floral notes. With a harmonious and balanced taste.
Gastronomic Combinations
Excellent as an aperitif, it goes particularly well with white meats, fish soups, shellfish and fresh cheeses.
Serving Temperature
This wine should be served at a temperature of 10 -12°C.
Wine Making Process
Vermentino IGT is vinified in white in stainless steel tanks. The grapes are harvested, destemmed-crushed and immediately pressed at low pressures obtaining a delicate and aromatic flower wine that will then be inoculated with selected yeasts and subsequent fermentation at a controlled temperature to maintain the fruity floral aromas of this wine.
